Trial and Error

When I get a color to register to another, or the emulsion washes out to reveal the details of a design; these are moments of joy. I know the client will not share these moments, but because of them, they will enjoy their project.

They don't know it, but I've had hundreds of teachers. Thank you to all my screen-printing sisters and brothers for sharing through online videos, comments and photos. Your help saves time and I've learned a lot. It doesn't always work out quickly and it gets frustrating, and sometimes costly. There is only so much a video can show you. You have to get your hands in it to fully understand it.

This trial and error is how I become better. Every hack, technique and eventual solution is another tool on my belt and will improve efficiencies. I'm not just working on your project, I'm building my craft and engaging my spirit. When you open the box and the project is revealed, I hope you love it, because I loved making it.
